Can I get my Clubhouse rooms transcribed without turning them into blog or social media posts?
Absolutely! If you need a transcribed script from your room, that includes speaker and time stamps, we'd be happy to assist. In fact, that's how CH Scribes got started. We saw a need for a transcription service and filled the need.
What if I don't know how long my Clubhouse room will run?
It's no problem. Most of our clients don't know the length of their rooms until they go Live and watch the interaction. You will be charged initially for one hour. If your room runs longer than that, as most do, all subsequent time will be billed at a discounted rate, in 30-minute blocks. There's no need to worry about how long your room runs. We'll take care of that on our end!
I only want to transcribe a certain amount of time in my room, even though it may run longer. Can I do that?
Yes, you can! We currently offer two options, one for a Single Hour Transcription and the second for Full Room Transcription.
What if my room only goes 30 minutes? Will I still get charged for a full hour?
Great Question! Our transcription services have a one-hour minimum. For example, if your room runs anywhere between one and 59 minutes, you will be billed for one hour. After the initial hour, charges are incurred in 30-minute increments.
The only exception is for rooms that run over 12 hours. Once that happens, any portion of the last hour is FREE...even if you go 59 minutes.
I want to transcribe a room that I'm NOT moderating. Can I still place an order with you?
Another Great Question! We transcribe whatever room you request. While you may want to let the chief moderator know what you have in mind, we don't require you to do so.
I want to repurpose my room transcription into blog posts. How do I know how many posts I will get out of my room?
That's a tricky one! Some rooms are packed full of educational information, while others are more conversational. Obviously, the more education being shared in the room, the more unique content that will flow from that room. We suggest you purchase a maximum of 4 articles for each hour of room length. This can be done after the initial transcription purchase.
Can I request a specific number of articles be written from my Clubhouse room?
You sure can! On average we can produce one article for every 15 minutes of transcription...but you don't need to purchase that many. Just purchase the number of articles (up to 4/hour of room length) that you need, after you purchase the transcription service.
I want social media content from my room. How many posts can I expect from my Clubhouse room?
That depends on your platform. When you select Social Media Content Production, you will be given the option to choose Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Obviously, you will have a character constraint with Twitter, so that content will contain fewer characters but produce a larger number of posts.
Can I purchase a specific number of social media posts, independent of how long my room is open?
You sure can! At the time of check-out, you can choose a specific number of posts OR Unlimited. If you choose unlimited, we'll squeeze every drop of impactful content out of your room. With the unlimited plan, we offer a flat rate option so that you know what the final cost will be, no matter the number of posts delivered. This is a fan-favorite with our clients.
Should I let my co-moderators and room attendees know that I am transcribing the room or turning it into content?
That's completely up to you. Clubhouse has politely asked room moderators to post if their rooms are being recorded. Sometimes that's done and sometimes it's not. Our "on-fire" transcription team works Live and in tandem with more than one transcriptionist per room, so there's no need to worry about the recording issue. Up to this point, publicizing that you are recording is the only request the platform has made of their room moderators. That may change as the platform grows and evolves, but as of now, it's not an issue...unless you think it is! In which case, we support you in however you choose to handle it.
How long does it take you to deliver my purchases?
That depends on what you order. For transcription-only services, delivery runs 3 business days. For transcription + content production we deliver within 7 business days. For rooms that run beyond 6 hours and include content production, please contact us at clubhouse@chscribe.com for a custom delivery quote.
